You do not need to be a DJ
Raise Nation’s Fun DJ Workshop is designed for beginners. You can arrive without knowing what the buttons do and still leave understanding the basic building blocks of a DJ set.
A welcoming introduction
The instructor introduces the equipment and explains how DJs listen, count music, select songs, and prepare transitions. The goal is to make the setup feel approachable—not to bury you in technical language.
Hands-on practice
Guests get opportunities to work with the controls, cue music, adjust levels, and practice blending songs. The exact activities may vary by instructor and session, but participation is always central to the experience.
Music, laughter, and a little confidence
The workshop is educational, but it is also social. Guests encourage one another, react to song choices, take photos, and discover that learning a new skill can be a great night out.
Who should attend?
The experience works for solo guests, couples, friends, birthdays, youth groups, team-building outings, and anyone who has ever wondered what it feels like to control the music.
How to prepare
Wear something comfortable, arrive on time, and bring curiosity. Equipment is provided unless the event listing says otherwise. Check the specific listing for the location, age requirement, duration, accessibility information, and any optional add-ons.
